This has a headcanon - Tommy and Dream are brothers! During this story, their brotherly relationship goes far beyond toxic and more abusive ofc. but this hc isn't too important in the story so yah lmao

Tommy had gotten away from Dream in the canon universe, but in another Tommy was caught and turned into a living punching bag and, kinda, an experiment for Dream later on. Things were alright on the SMP, Wilbur and Tommy had already established L'manburg, Dream was angry at the two of them but didn't seem to be doing much about it, not too much conflict was going on.
