A commission fanfiction for a friend.
This is a fanfiction commission about the vocaloids Gakupo and Kaito (GakuKai) based on a scene from Tim Burton's Corpse Bride.

Gakupo is dead and Kaito is alive. 
Kaito was intended to marry Meiko, a young woman from a struggling noble family, for the sake of her family's wealth and his family's reputation. Neither of them are in love and in a panic during his wedding rehearsal Kaito fled to a woodland where he found himself repeating his vows. After speaking his vows a man rose from the ground, accepting his words. This was Gakupo.
This particular story is about Kaito listening in on Gakupo's lamenting piano tune, dealing with the emotions he's beginning to feel for the other.
