Because of a Death

Riley's been through it all. The beatings, the alcoholic results of her mothers hobby, and the lack of love.

But one day changes that all.

So when Riley and her new companion, Abbey go from being in a foster home to getting taken in by horse-loving Hanna, their world turns upside down-- again. Now, in their new home at this high-class ranch, fitting in with not only people, but the animals as well, makes living even harder than imagined.

But when a wild horse, a hot cowboy, a mysterious hired hand, an accident, memory loss, and lies enter the picture, change happens. And soon it leads to secrets and hard-core deception, and they're left questioning everything they knew.
