Nagito's luck was intense...his parents died when he was a child due to it. He's lost everything due to this luck cycle. He tends to push people away because of this. He doesn't want to hurt anyone. But one day he meets Hajime Hinata, he talks to this boy in his class and eventually falls deeply in love with him. Only his friend, Chiaki Nanami, knows this fact. Nagito tries to ignore this because he doesn't want to hurt Hajime. But another big factor is his sexuality. But soon this all changes.... Hajime Hinata is on a class trip to Jabberwock Island with ultimate students at Hope's peak academy. Although he's with kids from school and would most likely get along with them...he feels a strange awkwardness when around them. There's a catch though, Hajime isn't really like the others; he doesn't have an ultimate. Because of that, he thinks the others might look down on him. But there is one student that looks down on him the most, Nagito Komaeda: the ultimate lucky student. He believes since Hajime doesn't have a talent, he's not valid like everyone else and decides to put him down for something he can't control. Hajime just wants to be friends with everyone, but because this inconvenience he's very insecure about being around the others, and distances himself. Then Kazuichi Souda and Chiaki Nanami decide to include him since they feel bad, they just want him to be happy. Hajime starts to open up a bit after hanging out with them a lot, maybe with this new confidence he can get that one stubborn student to finally like him.
