Virgil has the next couple years of his life planned out: he'll graduate from high school and study Graphic Design in college. His roommate will be his best friend, Roman. At the end of college, he'll move into an apartment, get a boyfriend and start his life. But as he gets caught up in how he really wouldn't mind that boyfriend to be Roman, his high school throws a three-day school trip at him and his friends. He gets placed in a cabin with not only Roman, but his two other friends Patton and Logan. The four of them are also in an activity group together, which means that the four of them will be around each other for most, if not all, of the 72-hour period. So, here Virgil is. Stuck far away from home in a cabin with his crush. For three. Whole. Days. Virgil is the source of Thomas's anxiety so that means he was treated differently. Patton and Logan didn't mind his presence as long as he doesn't hurt Thomas or be too harsh. Roman is a different story he didn't like Virgil as much as the others did so he'd often start the fights. What happens if he starts to find out what's wrong with the rain cloud? Will he give him mercy and apologize? Or will he suffer the harsh consequences for his actions? Romance is in the air for them both what happens next??? I can feel my heart racing against my ribs as if it is about to tear itself out of my chest as I gaze into a pair of violet-silver eyes. They are locked onto my own with a predator's intensity. It takes every ounce of self-control I have to keep up this foolish staring contest, but I keep at it. I will not appear weak in my own court! The stranger does not blink but offers the tiniest of smirks, as if sensing my growing distress. I take in a deep breath and silently will some steel into my spine as I, at last, address him. "What is your name and what business do you have here?" The stranger grins and instead of bowing gives a mocking salute. His voice is soft and dark, carrying the promise of death, "I am, Lord Virgil and I have come on request of the king to help him against the growing threat." I swallow hard as he steps closer toward me, those uncanny eyes never leaving my face. "It would be wise if you stayed a safe distance away from me, Prince Roman.
