A gruesome pattern of murders leaves Heilige in national panic mayhem as three of its bright political prospects are murdered monstrously by a new killer in daylight. With no tangible proof left behind and crimes so degenerated and unspoken that it leaves a nation in a silenced frenzy. Cannibalistic killer on the loose, a country witnessing its worst economic crash and an unprecedented election in toll to decide the future of its democracy, Heilige is torn in the terrors of a national panic.

It appears that the killer chooses his prey by the thickness of the greed coating their wallets and those who feign the face of sainthood, for he devours only the rich and the wicked under the scorch of the daylight that leads to another more vicious murder. ( degutted and scrumptiously decapitated corpses stuffed with carbonized money and missing body parts reassembled to form eldritch angels).

With only the prediction of Ewa Nijo, former minister and psychiatric patient's "proof" two weeks before the murders, Iokanne Tungsten has to expose the killer if he wants to dodge his death penalty. Only if he can fight his own past and accept the terrifying truths lurking in Heilige, putting the very history of Heilige and his identity at risk.
