Melanie lives in 'paradise of earth' the outer banks, she lives on the cut with her brother Barry the drug dealer. Mel has been a pogue since she was in the third grade when she met John B and JJ when she was sticking up for a kid who had just been punched in the face by a kook, They both were very impressed. JJ and Mel have been best friends ever since always joking and messing around having fun not knowing that they both live the same home life. Mel was very secretive of her home live the pogues don't know anything about her family not even it she has parents or siblings, Mel made Barry swear not to tell anyone who she is. Mel isn't just a normal 16 year old because he brother is a drug dealer she has had to help out with some deals, she's even got a little addicted but she won't admit it to anyone.
