What if the League of Villains never kidnapped Bakugo? What if instead, Bakugo realized that the heroes were the corrupt ones? What was the point being a hero if they were really the bad guys?
Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midoriya always wanted to be heroes. They'd make great heroes! They both had the power to overtake All Might and be the Symbol of Peace. They were at UA High School, and were already top of their class.
But it wasn't what they really wanted. They deserved better. Being a hero was a sham. Life was caving in on the two, and they felt no other compulsion than to run. Run far away. Even if they didn't like each other much (or really, were too ignorant to reveal their true feelings).
So, they run away during the Summer Camp, and find themselves trapped and hidden. After a while of being in hiding, Bakugo and Izuku are compelled to join the League of Villains to survive.
This works, because it's what the League had needed all along.

Ever since Izuku Midoriya joined U.A. High School and settled in, he knew that the League of Villains were after him and his quirk: One For All. However, when the time comes when Bakugo is the target and is only seconds away from being captured, Midoriya throws himself in the chaos and ends up saving Bakugo, only at the cost of his own safety as he is captured instead. Midoriya is brought back to the League of Villains' hideout and with him there, Shigaraki plans on changing the young boy's mindset and plans to use force against him. When Midoriya isn't able to escape for three years and no one can seem to find him, he begins to lose hope and his wounds only bleed more. Even when he goes back in time with the help of a pro hero's quirk, he is diagnosed with depression and struggles to go on through life. He doesn't feel like himself. He needs someone.
