Dusk Hargreeves, aka Number Eight is not like the other kids, her raging temper can turn her into a phoenix. Throughout childhood, her powers cause strained relationships between her and her other siblings, all except for Klaus and Viktor.
 

After their father dies, they all gather back at the academy for the funeral. And right before the ceremony, Number Five soon returns from the future with news of an incoming apocalypse in eight days. While trying to find the source of the apocalypse, Dusk begins to feel a burning desire for Klaus... But will her feelings for him throw her off the task at hand?
