When darkness was sensed in an unfamiliar and strange world, Sora and Kairi jump in to explore the potential dangerous darkness that is occurring. They arrive in a world where they have met the brothers Mario and Luigi, and they go on a quest to beat the source of the darkness along with saving their friends.

This is a collab between Writer_Sky and I, and also a crossover between Kingdom Hearts and the Mario & Luigi series. This was first made before the KH3 DLC came out, so there may be some inaccuracies here and there, so bare with us lmfao.All Rights Reserved

Soon after Ventus was awake, thanks to Sora's power of waking, the Seven Guardians of Light are completed and ready to face Master Xehanort and the real Organization XIII at the Keyblade Graveyard. Next stories continue as Hikari travels back in time to rescue her mother in ReMind and Sora, Hiromi and Riku's clues to search for Hikari in Melody of Memory. The events of the Kingdom Hearts Saga if Sora and Kairi had been born the opposite gender. Soraya is an average tomboyish girl living on the Destiny Islands with her two best friends. Riku, who had been her closest friend her whole life (so close that they were practically siblings), and Kai, a sweet and creative boy who she had a slight crush on. One day, when Soraya was fourteen, her life changed forever when darkness invaded her home, and only she had the power to combat it. Little did she know that she was the prophesied Child of Destiny. ***I've loved Kingdom Hearts for years. I have all three main games. I've seen a couple genderbend fanfictions about it before, which were really good, but I thought I could elaborate more. Only Sora and Kairi are genderbent in this fanfiction. I do realize that Sora is a Japanese unisex name, but I associate it too much with a boy character to use it. Soraya is a Persian name that means "star cluster," which I feel fits perfectly, and Kai is a unisex name that means "sea" in Hawaiian, which also works well. There will be no POVs in this fanfiction. Kingdom Hearts is the property of Square Enix and Disney. Found inspiration for Kai's design on Google Images. (Copywrite is the last thing I want).
