[y/n] was exiled for speaking out against the council- a power that controls the government from the shadows. She quickly adapts to the lifestyle of living in the badlands and pestering her favourite guard in the Inlands, and will most often never be seen without her robotic highland cow, Rocky, or her AI companion, Aecai.

After a year of living in the badlands on her own, she is stumbled upon by one of the scouts of a powerful Badland tribe known as the Blackhearts. Their leader- a man whose crime that caused his exile remains unsolved- takes an interest in our protagonist, though that is not what our story is about.
