The smell of the sweet Husky scent hit me by surprise, mmm, I breathed out my friends Layla and Cecelia look at me in confusion, what do you smell your Birthday cake, or something? Layla says, while Cecelia just looks at me then chuckles, she looks at the door, and nods her head towards it. Cecelia knows That i'm a wolf because she is one... But Layla isn't... No i'm just gunna step outside for a moment. I step outside of the old beaten down dark blue house and strip off my teal vans along with my teal T-shirt with a black leather jacket, and jeans. And left my long dirty blonde hair down and alone. I sprint into the woods, I can here the river rushing hard and fast as usual, I take a sharp turn slipping on dirty leaves and getting my auburn colored coat stained brown/ black I stop in my tracks when I see the tree bridge that lets us cross the border... Thats when I go down again, and see his deep chocolate brown eyes starring into my two different colored eyes blue and red.

**TRIGGER WARNING: this book contains scenes of rape and other sexual assault actions. Readers discretion is advised*** I hear a low rumble behind me as I turn back towards the woods. I hear the growl first and my lips part at the husky sound. A feeling stirs within me that I've never felt before. A pair of large grey eyes stare at me through the foliage. My heart races and my breath is taken away. As soon as they were there they were gone. Only one word continued to ring throughout my head that I could recognize. "Mate," I whisper.
