Skylar Montgomery and Jaycob Harrison have known each other since they were six years old. The world has fallen apart. When Jaycob gets sent off to Africa to fight in the war, what will happen when his camp is attacked with a nuclear bomb that contains a substance that attacks the brain? Will Skylar be able to snap him out of it? Will she make it in time? Or will the darkness drive Jaycob completely off his rocker?
In this short story, for an English project, love will be tested in a way so earth-shatteringly strong that you'll have your heart aching for the two.

Wrong dose
When twins Skylar and Jake were born, their scientist parents used them as an experiment. Each was injected with a dose of serum that would supposedly make them much stronger, smarter, simply better than other kids. But somebody added a chemical that changed the effects of the serum. As a result each twin got only half of the traits they were originally supposed to get. Skylar got the strength and speed while Jake got the brains. When they realized what had happened, the twins' parents immediately put them up for adoption, so neither one knew of the other. 12 years later Skylar is constantly failing all her classes, and Jake is getting bullied because he is so much weaker than other kids. But then Skylar's adoptive family decides to move across the country to find a new school for their daughter, which happens to be the school Jake goes to. They meet completely by accident. In the meantime, their parents have found a way to fix their mistake from 12 years ago -- they can make one of the twins perfect. But it requires for the other twin to give their life.Terminé
