"This is it. The curtain call. Where we go from here is entirely your choice. Funny how we're right back where we started."

It has been four years since Sam and his brothers blackmailed the Agency into keeping them on board for the Jewel Project.

Four years in which they did everything in their power to plant a bomb inside their employer.

Four years of weddings, children and peace.

When Sam accidentally discovers the pattern for the placement of the jewels, as well as the location of the final one, they have a very difficult decision to make.

They know they have to finish what they started and make sure the last jewel doesn't end up in the wrong hands.

But when what was supposed to be their final adventure goes terribly wrong, it becomes increasingly hard to pick up the pieces.

However, the Agency wants them back in the game. They can't afford to fail. And when Snitch Gravel re-emerges to race them one final time, the stakes are higher than they'd ever been.

And Sam and his team face the ultimate challenge. Can they make their way out alive, or are they destined to become their worst enemy?

"She was a rogue agent. A master in worshipping her work and herself. But suddenly she disappeared, without any track. Some thought she is dead, some thought she has taken a momentarily break and some thought she was still looking out for a chance to pounce on any other gang. I don't blame them, she had a track record for doing that and she was pretty good at it." Her last kill before she vanished out of this world of war, was one of the biggest group of smugglers. Now, many other groups and rogue agents are trying to track her down for one reason or another, but in that crowd this last group which she tackled down to ashes is also included. Not revenge but something bigger. More than hard feelings, more than just a rage of vengeance. Something to gnaw at for a specific reason. Any guesses why this group is searching for it's biggest enemy? ●●●●● "Why did you refuse...?! "Beacuse...I don't want to lose the people ..I c-care for anymore..!" ❖ Interstellar pilot and ex-adventurer Alex Gallegos must keep their team safe on an icy moon as sentient storms threaten to repeat the tragedy that ended their last career. ❖ Everyone in the United Inhabited Solar Systems (for some reason, UIS for short) knows to stay away from Mahaha. The icy moon is notorious for failed probe landings and research missions that end in tragedy: the only people to ever venture to its surface needed rescuing after just two weeks. When a prestigious research group decides they want a turn, they ask Alex Gallegos to lead the team. Perfectly qualified and haunted by their past, Alex accepts, hoping to make up for old mistakes and get just a little further from the earth they've left behind. Two months into the seven-month mission, the team is struggling with discontent, damaged equipment, and blizzards acting less and less like normal weather. As Mahaha moves out of range of help and the storms take on a more malicious character, Alex must face the one foe they could never have prepared for. Mahaha may or may not be alive. ❖❖❖ Complete. Wattys 2021 Shortlister. Standalone sequel (Rocks Can Dance) coming in 2023. Comments and critiques are both welcome and appreciated. She's troublesome. He lives for trouble. Both embedded with their own secrets and lies. A girl who's self-destruction leads her to a camp for delinquents. But the trouble doesn't stop there. Still mysteries and pieces to put together. Every single person has a secret. The question is... What're you hiding? And why? Remember... If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun. I suck at descriptions honestly just read with book ;) Here's a fun snippet: "You kissed them?" Chase whispers to me. "No! Well yes and no, kind of. Now's not the fucking time," I stop myself from rambling. "Put the gun down," Louis demands. "Or we will shoot!" "What if I shoot first," I challenge. "Five of us and two of you. You knock down one or two of us we'll have your name on a gravestone," Louis grins evilly. "Are you underestimating my shooting skills?" I question. "Do you want to find out," Louis dares. "No! No the fuck we don't," Chase yells. He shoots me a 'what the fuck is wrong with you' look and I shrug.
