This story starts at the beginning of Series 4 of BBC's 'Merlin'. Diane is the daughter of the reclusive lord who came to Camelot in order to be a knight. Merlin is suspicious of her at first because of her cold demeanor and secretive nature. As fate would have it, Diane comes to have an important part to play in the prophecy of King Arthur and the future of Albion.
