John Lee Scott is the son of the former Mighty Morphing Red Ranger, Jason Lee Scott, and the second former Mighty Morphing Pink Ranger, Catherine Sutherland Scott. His uncle is the former Green, White, and Red Ranger of the past rangers as well, Tommy Oliver. John doesn't know that of his families ranger days. Until he found a strange gem in a cave with a strange symbol and a statue of the legendary Quetzalcoatl. He reached for the gem, only for it to jump on his wrist and energy entered his body as images of a silver ranger and a silver Quetzalcoatl machine appeared in his head. He screamed in pain as the pain finally stopped and he looked at his wrist to see a Power Ranger Morpher. It then turn into a silver bracelet with the symbol for Quetzalcoatl with the silver gem in the center. John ran out of the cave as he went to his parents and showed them the gem. They instantly knew what had happened and told him about their past. John was amazed to learn that his parents and uncle were part of the original Power Ranger team that protected Angle Grove from Rita and Lord Zedd. That day, his training began. Soon enough when he was eighteen, Jason and Catherine thought it best if their son stayed with Tommy for a year to learn more and to help him out. Once John said goodbye to his parents, his new journey began as the Silver Mystic Dino Thunder Ranger...
