Being a cheerleader meant that Brigit LaGreen could never be seen for what she really was. What was supposed to be fun became a complete mess and waste of time.

There were 'rules' set by the head cheerleader Kimberly Kook;
1. Always go for football players
2. Never get a bad hair cut
3. Never wear sweat pants
4. Do not date or hang out with ANY of the band geeks or anyone in music department

Well, this year, April's had enough. She's breaking all the rules. But when she dates Jake Momsen, a 4th Chair cellist, it becomes less about spiting her cheer mates and more about being with him.
