Grace Carter had never argued with her best friend, Lanie, about things and they had been inseparable. The only issue is, Grace's homelife is getting harder, not only that, she now has to keep a big secret from Lanie. They never keep secrets and if they do, they aren't bad ones. Now that she has a secret this big to keep, Lanie and Grace's friendship is at risk. Dante Lawrence has many issues but he is well-known at school for his social status. He never pays any mind to Lanie and her best friend Grace, but he knows a lot about her. Grace knows a lot about him too with his anger issues and parental problems, making it all the easier for him to avoid her. His closed-off demeanor shows that he only lets a few get close and one of those people isn't Grace. When he plays his music loud one night, she has no choice but to come to his room merely for the reason of wanting to sleep and not being able to. One thing leads to another and now they have to be secretive about their new profound deal and relationship to each other before Lanie finds out and hates Grace forever or Dante loses himself and his sister at the same time for his selfish needs towards Grace and her life.
