This is Chapter one of my book. While he solves multiple mysteries, finds love, deals with death, forgiveness, and helping others are all subplots with a huge plot twist at the end. Any advice is welcome.

"What I was suppose to do? You left me, you went to Arizona." I shout at him as he storms away. "Wait for me." He shouts and I go mute. Did he really just say that? Beyond a Glance
This story is completely written from my imagination. It has nothing to do with real world and incidents. Any character, event, business, place, incidents are fictitious. Any resemblance to actual person, living or dead, everything that actual happens that might be coincidental. This book contains mature theme and violence and some sensitive topics that might be triggering. I'm in my improving stage so please ignore some mistakes.
