It was on their first snow, physically together, that he knew he had to win.

She never knew she was so captured in between her mother's so-called protection. All she ever prayed for was what her mother tried to block her from. 
She always was in the midst of depression, but she acted like she wasn't. She tried to keep her tears away, but sometimes she couldn't help it. She wanted to live as a "perfect daughter," but her dreams didn't follow her mother's. 

And on the first snow, she finally said what he had been waiting for.
