A girl embarks on a self-healing journey from country to sea to celebrate the life of her younger sister, whom she lost all too soon. On the anniversary of her death, the girl sets out to go night snorkeling at her sister's favorite place on earth-Catalina Island, just twenty miles off the coast of Los Angeles. Along her bittersweet journey, she encounters an older woman who both encourages and gives her the strength to let go. In doing so, the girl discovers that her sister will always be with her.
