The Price of Life - A Novella
SOOO we obviously didn't make the deadline lol. This story is unfinished and will remain that way. This is the best example of a rushed concept with no actual plot lol. I wrote blind and hated most of what I had written. I've redesigned this concept and I'm rewriting it with a stronger concept and a laid-out plot. I will release the rewrite when it's done. I'm keeping this published so I can look back at my growth and so others can also see the transformation if they are interested. [ROUND THREE QUALIFIER] Simone's family is her life until she is called as one of the hundred winners given a chance at a new life. When Simone Moss enters the Healthy Human Dome, she is pushed into a deadly game that challenges her in every way possible. While this dark game is filled with blood, it also forces her to face her inner demons and grow in unexpected ways. "Every life you take raises the price of your own. Lily Carter's parents died in a car crash leaving her and Laura, girl was depressed long before her parents passed away and with all the problems turning up now, Lily felt more miserable - if that's even possible. With her journey to look for life's purpose and grab the small pinch of HOPE - which is ironically her second name -, will she finally snap at the pressure and finally end it all? or will a small light lit her darkened world of grief and loneliness? * "So you know. The little goth girl who gets bullied is indeed a mess. There's this mess in her head that eats her alive everyday isn't it? What to do now Kaden? Tell the whole neighborhood and recieve an award for taking out a crazy in this world?" I spit like vomit. His eyes warmed up as I finished, "Lily. It isn't like that" "What is it then? People stopped caring... they gave up, why aren't you?" I fought my tears. "Because I feel the need to care. Did Leigh hurt you? Did she hit you?" he finally noticed the unusual redness of my cheek. I don't like the way he told me he needed to care for me. I felt like an obligation, a responsibility that he is carrying and carrying leads to getting tired and when people gets tired, they give up. I don't want them to give up on me. But they will, so it's good not to make them care for me in the first place. "I never needed anyone. I stopped needing anyone before, why start now?" I uttered the words again. Why? There is nothing to fight for. No mama. No papa. No sister to love me. No one. So why would I waste my life and the time of others to fix what is already broken - and someone who doesn't want to be fixed? If I may add. Maybe I gave up. No, scratch that. I gave up a long time ago - when my parents died, my hope and purpose went away with them.Concluída

A small girl catches my attention one day during lunch and I can't seemed to get her off my mind. My new friends and others advise me to stay away from the brunette. I'm new to the school so I don't know much of anything but I can't figure out as to why someone so cute and petite could possibly be dangerous. Every time I ask, everyone's response is "She's not normal..." ---------- ATTENTION - If you're a grammar freak, I don't suggest reading this. This was mainly written when I had no idea what I was doing yet. My grammar sucked and I had many choppy chapters. If you make it half way through the book, I promise it gets better. At school she is the badass who stays by herself, till one day of her senior year when a new student walks through the doors of her high school, turning her whole world upside down. Lauren thought she's already lived the worst part of her life...oh is the young werewolf wrong. ******* I suck at summaries but give it a try (: This was my first ever book. I never thought I could put together a whole Story. Back in 2016 my girlfriend used to write a book on her own, she was the reason I ever started writing anything so I'd like to thank her for that and even go as far as dedicating this book to her, even though we aren't a part of each other's life anymore. I started writing this book back in 2016 and since then I improved a lot. There was a time in 2017 - 2018 when I gave up on this book but in 2019 I finally decided to pick it back up and finish it off. Epilogue updated on June 29th, 2019. I know it's not the best book of all time but I'm proud of finishing it, even though the story and writing style doesn't match me as a person anymore.Concluída

Lauren Jauregui, she is a member from Fifth Harmony and she is 20 years old. She haven't dated anyone in a while, she was focused on her career and focused on earning money for her family and herself. Her other bandmates are of course Camila, Dinah, Normani and Ally, they are her best friends, she loves them so much because they are supportive and really good friends. One day after the tour ends, the girls all went to their hometowns and spend time with their families. So Camila and Lauren went back to Miami, but then one day she went to the park since she just wanted to walk around. She liked that park because her, her siblings and dad always play in that park, so she goes there every time she comes home. Y/N Y/L/N, she is a college student and lives with her best friend Renee in an apartment. She is almost done with college though, so all she needed to do was find a job after she graduate. She is a huge fan of Fifth Harmony but she never really gets to meet them because she didn't have money for the meet and greets or the concert so she just watches them online. She has a huge crush on of course THE Lauren Jauregui from Fifth Harmony. One day she went to the park to just walk around and then noticed a pretty girl but then she realized it was her crush.
