Angie has always done everything right her whole life. She got good grades, applied to the right schools, and has had a boyfriend for two years. But when Angie meets Ellen, she begins to question just how perfect her life has been.

At the start of her senior year of high school, Angie Williams found herself in a weird position. Between applying to colleges, keeping her grades up, and her relationship she has to take a backseat when it comes to her social life. But when Angie hosts Ellen Richards, a new transfer student, on a tour around her high school, she's immediately captivated by her popularity. Suddenly, Angie becomes obsessed with becoming friends with Ellen, and she cannot understand why.
