"And is it right to let go of the only thing you've ever known?" Aerion's voice trembled. "You hurt me. I know. But it doesn't matter." Damien's voice turned low. "Because I've been your whole world for a while-your joy, your ruin. I broke you. And still, you cling to me. Not out of love, but because pain feels familiar." Damien paused. The Hunters scout out terrain, reclaim Dead Zones, and are the eyes and ears of the City- the Warlocks research the secrets of the fundamental ideas of the Darkness, predict future events, and enthrall themselves in the workings of the Light to understand it and to find new ways to work it into the Guardians arsenal- and finally, the Titans, Defenders of the Last City, and the burning lights of hope in the shadows.
