She should have known that jumping into the void would screw her up. Being the hero never worked for her but it was ironic, wouldn't it? The wannabe hero ending like a hero but no one would never remember. 

Yes. Life was playing her a bad hand but, at least it was her and not the real hero. Hope was the hero. Hope was the one who had the loving family, Hope was the worthy one.

Kayla was the screwed up one. But she didn't know how much of a screwed up until she gets mistakenly spit out in the middle of Mystic Falls.
