A young man rides into town, buys her for his wife based on a prophecy, and takes her along on his quest. They have adventures, meet several other wizards, slowly become a team, and all is well until her land is being invaded. It is her job to protect the land from invasion, and she can now make butterflies.

This is a Y/A fantasy. Uniquely, it's a backwards romance, starting with them being married. And it's a coming-of-age quest.
