Captain Rick Tanner, grief stricken by Maggie's choice, finds it difficult not to stake earth's newest 'asset'. As his contempt for the vampire grows and their enemies close in, will he be able to resist exacting revenge? Or will temptation of another kind be humanity's downfall?
