Airee Nakahara (BSD FANFIC)

"Hi. I'm Dazai Osamu. Nice to meet you. Would you like to Join the Port Mafia?" With a warm smile, the boy, wrapped in bandages, gently spoke as he offers his hand before me. It is as if he didn't see me kill earlier...it's as if he can't see the blood covering my white dress.

"P-port...Mafia?" I asked, not knowing what that is...

"Yes...it's where I live." He cheerfully answered, waiting for me to accept his offer.

Staring at him, I slowly lifted my hand, ready to reach for it...reach for the only hope I know...but I stopped.

"I...I only know how to kill. I don't know what life means to me..." Seeing the hesitation in my eyes, he grabbed my hand and pulled me in a hug.

"I'll teach you how to live...as long as you come with me." It was gentle...and warm.

It was the first time I felt warmth...and I didn't understand why.
