When Luz returns to the Boiling Isles, her feelings towards her best friend, top student Amity Blight, haven't changed. But both are too afraid to confess. In an attempt to get closer to her best friend, Luz takes her to explore the wonders of the human realm. But things aren't as they seem, and there is someone, something, with a devious plan to take everything away from her.
Note: in this fanfic Belos has been defeated and Eda is no longer wanted

Synopsis: Amity Blight's relationship with Luz Noceda takes a turn upon meeting a mysterious stranger who reveals that he knows about Amity's secret crush on Luz. Introduction: This was my VERY FIRST fanfiction! I wrote Two Queens, Two Hearts: A Lumity Story to deal with the hiatus after the first season of The Owl House ended. I initially intended to write the first two chapters only, but then I got a bunch of new ideas about how Lumity and the overall arc of TOH could develop. I picked up where the first season left off, and I wrote as much as possible. However, when the second season of TOH started airing, I thought it better to let Dana Terrace and the TOH team tell their story their way. I have also decided to write original stories and begin pursuing a career as a professional writer because of all the tremendous praise I got for writing this story, plus all the fun I had writing it! TQTH is mainly a romance story. Our young heroines will have to face a brief threat, but the narrative will primarily focus on Luz and Amity's relationship, so get ready for some sappy, sapphic stuff! I hope you enjoy it! 2 months have passed since the battle at blight manor but life was still just as hectic. From Luz juggling being in the human world and boiling isles, Eda attempting to come to terms with the owl beast and her family past and king learning the truth of his origin things were never simple within the owl hose. This on top of the blight parents being desperate to win over Belos' favour, a feat made no easier by the obnoxious golden guard, by attempting to get the key to the human world. And on top of all of this Luz and Amity still haven't been able to just start dating! In other words life is a mess and difficult but that hasn't stopped them before.
