She never thought she would end up like this. Battered and bruised, with no way out. So she just has to make one. She grabs destiny by its throat and forces it into the shape of her choosing like she always has. There is no time to give up, not when she can save them all.
Himari has lost too much already. Her family, her friends, her whole life. She's lost over and over again, has been forced to accept truths the average mind would not endure. And yet, she has persisted. And yet, she still carries on, caring for those dearest to her so that they will not meet the same fate as so many others. She will not give up. She cannot give up. The Phoenix will rise above all in a glorious display of power, will send those who dare defy it into an early grave. And when the smoke rises, there will be nothing left but ashes: a new beginning.
