Alexia Rose Salvatore is a vampire/which who lives in Mystic Falls with her parents, Damon and Elena Salvatore and older brother Stefan James Salvatore.

When Alexia is 10 years old, her and her brother are on the verge of death until Caroline Forbes feeds them her blood. After a night at the hospital, they die in their sleep.

They wake up in transition, but Alexia isn't just a normal vampire. After her first taste of human blood, she doesn't stop until every drop of the nurses blood is gone, and then the nurse drops to the floor. Her head decapitated.

Alexia is a ripper.

When Bonnie Bennett performs a spell on the Salvatore siblings, to keep them ageing as humans, Bonnie touches Alexia's temples and is pulled into a vision.

Alexia has powers. Shes a witch. But she requires a wand.
