A Heartless King

Ten years ago, on New Year's Eve, the entire world was engulfed in flames. It was that day that daemons were unleashed onto the worlds surface to wreck havoc, and piles of heartless corpses appear overnight.

In X249, the heartless bodies are still showing up, but the government is turning a blind eye. An illegal organisation, the Exorcists, are the only people who fight to destroy the monsters causing a disease that nobody sees.

Blaike Thorpe is an unsociable high-school student that has a tendency to avoid people. Until one day he finds famous actress, Lacie Hemingway bleeding out in his secret hideaway. He becomes apart of something bigger when he decides to become meaningful in a world full of nobodies.
