Samantha Murray was a young woman, coming of age in an age of uncertainty. Born female into a family of were-cougars was bad enough, but Sam was the pack master's niece. This held responsibilities that she had not asked for, nor accepted.
There was a day that changed it all, the day her uncle decided to sell her to the worst person she could imagine. She knew she was not sold, but it was just how it felt. All her life she was told to do her duty, do what is best for the pack.
