"You show up day after night with no purpose than to see me. You do understand the consequences your actions bear, do you not?" Love, humanity's greatest gift and greatest curse. Whether to cherish it or to discard it is in the beholder's choice. But an unspoken rule whispers a warning to those who play its game: you love your own, your kin, they whom you live among. Once your adoration reaches for what it mustn't, it becomes sin; it devours the soul, it ravages the mind, and leaves nothing but devastation in its wake. "But I don't believe you've ever denied me the opportunity, Castiel. And you do understand the consequences of your actions, don't you?"
The Echos Of fate
Lenora Holloway, an outcast princess born of both human and vampire lineage, grapples with self-acceptance and the loss of her childhood memories following her mother's mysterious death. Her life takes a fateful turn when she meets the handsome vampire Prince Caliban. As familiar memories resurface in her dreams, including those of Caliban, Lenora begins to unlock the mysteries that have long haunted her. Together, Lenora and Caliban embark on a journey to uncover the truths that threaten their realm. As they delve deeper into their pasts and the secrets of their world, the tension between them grows, testing the strength of their bond. What sacrifices will Lenora, Caliban, and their companions have to make to rid their realm of darkness? Their quest is fraught with peril, and the stakes have never been higher as they strive to bring light to the shadows that loom over their future. ----------------------- "You have no idea how much I crave you," Caliban's bright icy blue eyes bore into my bright yellow ones. "W-what do you mean?" I stutter. Caliban moves closer, and I instinctively take a step back. My back bumps against a tree, his hands caging me in as he looms over me like a predator. He bends down until his mouth is hovering over my ear. "What I mean, princess, is that my fangs ache for your throat. My skin begs to be against yours. For my lips to take away every last breath. I crave you so much it's intoxicating," he breathes out, his chest rising and falling rapidly. He moves his head to look into my eyes. I hesitate for a moment, but then that hesitation quickly fades as I speak. "Then do it." He searches my face for any sign of doubt, and when he finds none, he opens his mouth. "Turn around."
