Aria had a simple life, she had her friends, her brother, and her parents. "The moon's really beautiful, if you think about it," I blurted. "Yeah?" he asked, mild amusement and curiosity mingling in his voice. "Yeah," I confirmed. Perhaps alien life was never meant to be explored by humans... Will she fulfill her promise to her father and son to make it home alive, or will she fail to make good on that promise like her mother did when she was a little girl? She would know, as she had stolen many moments staring, studying his face, and she could definitely spot those eyes anywhere. They are suddenly forced to face each other, and she realizes that she quickly becomes that awkward shy school girl all over again. He is familiar to her, but yet, still different, as he is a soldier who hasn't quite left the battlefield. Standing so close to him, she can't help but try to steal a closer look at him, but she quickly realizes that this time- he is staring back at her, and he isn't even trying to hide it.
