"What if we faked it."
"What are you talking about?" I asked, still annoyed from his sarcastic attacks.
"Let's pretend we're an item, that we're 'in love'" Colven brings his fingers into the air to make quotation marks around those disgusting words.
I scoffed, about to deny his stupid offer but he cut me off, "we can fool everyone on this ship, Eleena. Our parents will be the easiest part. We get married, your mother will finally stop pushing you to find someone, and my father will write my name back into the will. We both get what we want."
I hesitated to agree, "what about when get off this stupid ship, then what happens?" I wasn't about to get tricked into marrying the most egotistical ass-face I have ever met.
"We split ways. You go wherever in the world you want and I go back to New York to own my family's business." Colven leaned back in his dining chair, his pretty- boy eyes staring at me while a tiny smile stained his lips.
"We never talk to each other again, and I want half the money you make - since I will be your wife." I innocently smirked at him. A full smile spreads across his face as he shook his head, leaning towards the table.
