This is a draft transcription of the custodian's accounts for the Templars' property in Devon, which cover the years 1308–9. The accounts are preserved at Kew: The National Archives of the UK. The account appears twice in the enrolled accounts at E358/18–20: at TNA E358/18 rot 53 dorse and at TNA 358/19 rot 28 dorse (2). The two versions are virtually identical, and cover the last three quarters of the first year of King Edward II's reign, and the first three quarters of the second year. The documents in the National Archives are covered by an Open Government Licence for public sector information, which allows everyone to copy, publish, distribute and transmit the documents in their archives: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/doc/open-government-licence/version/2/ . However, this transcription of the documents is copyright Helen J. Nicholson
