The year is 2066.
About two dozen years after World War III dominated the earth, remaining cities are in shambles. Crime is popular in the dangerous slums thousands call home, and danger is everywhere you turn. Many are divided, and the police system is a corrupt mess. The Watch is the police system of Neon District, but calling them officers would be a stretch. The Watch bows to an elite social class called the Executives.
Executives are the wealthy yet dangerous rulers of Neon District. Gold is stacked high in their mansions and they can get out of anything. Murder is an often fate to anyone who gets on their bad side. The Watch will constantly cover for them, as their money is the only reason the city hasn't crumbled to the ground.
Citizens are left to fight for food. Many live in poverty and in despair. Yet none can protest the evil and cruel ways of those above them.
Catherine River is determined to change that.
A poor orphan living in one of the dangerous, dark corners of Neon District, she is determined to fight back. Even if her outspoken ways cost her her life.
Daniella Bell is the complete opposite. A wealthy teenager with executive parents, she has her whole life planned out for her. Little does she know, she will soon uncover the demonic ways of her parents and those around them, and it will change everything.

A Wrong Visit To Town
The story takes place in the fictional town of 'Karimbigiri', which is located a few miles away from Shimla. A number of people and visitors are mesmerized by the scenic beauty of the greenery, hills, and weather of the place. What they don't know is that the town harbours a dark secret which is known to only the people who resides there. The law and order is just a myth and the one who talks about justice disappears the next day or his corpse is found in the worst state. The story is told with the point of view of the three unrelated characters who are the new visitors of the town. The first is a twenty six year old young boy who has left his prepartion of his banking exams in order to secure a corporate job thanks to the reference from his friend. He befriends a girl in his new workplace and forms a good bonding with her. His life is upturned when the girl goes missing without any trace. When he receives no help from anyone, he decides to go on his own and find the truth behind her mysterious disappearance. The second one is newly posted female cop. She tries to know the people and colleagues around but comes to know about the harsh reality of the town that her own colleagues in the department are corrupted by a person in the town. The people responsible for maintaining law and order has began to ignore the crimes committed by the person no matter how heinous it is. She voluntarily takes up an unsolved case of the death of a young girl but is hindered by the intervention of the colleagues in her own department. The third one is a special task force officer who is sent undercover to uncover a criminal ring involved in illegally manufacturing of weapons and supplying to anti social elements of the society. Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? They planned a mass attack on the U.S. on July 2, 2076, Americas 300th birthday. On that day, they assassinated the president and began bombing in New York. Unfortunately, Chaos only had about 200 soldiers so they came up with a technology to implant a chip in the nervous system and essentially control them. So basically, each solider could make a civilian a soldier and the civilian would be forced to fight and make soldiers of their own. The whole operation snowballed and everything went according to plan. Unlike in other stories, there is no hope and the only way to survive is though the CPO (citizen protection organization), created by Benjamin Franklin.
