Eight year old Kuroo has a frail looking cat eyed new neighbor. Kuroo learns that his new neighbor is only a year younger than him. The two boys introduced by their parents who are hoping they can be friends. As the two children begin to kindle a friendship, and as they grow older they question if it really has to be just friendship.
