Five students enrolled at Yozora High as freshmen, each of them entered the club they want but unfortunately, they quit or got rejected by the seniors. Requested to make their own clubs, the director grouped them to five in one room. Since running out of ideas and an otaku club isn't applicable, they named it the "Outcast" club instead, as getting rejected. The Outcast club's goal of re-enactment of their world's legendary history triggered something that made the legends come to life.
