Before Artemis even joined the Team, she had a life far different than any other kid her age. The abuse she witnessed, and struggled through makes her who she is: a fighter. This story gives the pre-Season 1 background and darkly riddled life of the infamous archer, and her rise to beat all odds.

Nightwing is great at looking strong. He's holding it together after the death of the second Robin, Jason, about to send one of his best friends undercover, and is leader of the Team. If that wasn't enough, something is stirring among the League of Shadows, something personal. Against Nightwing. At the same time, Dick Grayson is a student at Gotham University, struggling to find a balance between hero life and a regular life, trying to discern if there could even be a balance, or if he wants one. Then he meets a girl. A beautiful, smart, girl, full of life and laughter that makes Dick second guess his choices and the direction his life is on. It all comes to a head in this action packed story about heroes, legacy, and love. ------------------------ I've read lots of stories on here and thought, 'hey, maybe I can do that, too!' Things Aren't Always What They Seem
Sequel to Cracks: A young Justice fanfiction After Wally, Artemis, and Robin are rescued, you'd think things would go back to normal. But since a certain team is suspended, the teens don't see each other much. The teens go back to 'normal' lives for the time being. Things at school are difficult for the three teens though. Artemis was treated as a lower class since she was there on scholarship. And after returning things seem worse. Richard also had problems, being a short, adopted 'nerd' the others find it fun to harass the young boy. Wally never had it easy at school. He had many enemies that took advantage of his brain. Things continue to get worse, with Wallys Father still on the loose, what will these teens do? Will they ask for help? Or try to deal with ir themselves? And what happens when Wallys mother gets a new boyfriend? Things are changing, and change can be scary. Things are not what they seem. I do not own DC or its characters.
