Fauna looked down at the water under the bridge and took a deep breath, the past couple months of her life playing on repeat through her mind. She climbed up onto the concrete railing of the bridge as her heart started racing.

"No!! Wait!!" She heard a male voice yell over the cars passing by behind her. She looked over to where she heard the voice. "Look, I don't know whats going on in your life, I don't know who you are but please, there are things worth living for."

He got closer to her, within arms reach now, she closed her eyes and jumped. She was done with this life, she was done with the pain and the sorrow. Or she thought she was until she felt an arm around her upper body, pulling her body to his before she was able to fully jump. "I refuse to let you give up this easy."
