The Husband - Your husband has been acting a little strange lately at night. 2. The Neighbor - Your quiet home life suddenly gets really uncomfortable when you realize your elderly neighbor has been watching you through his window. 3. Public Restroom - You look back at your childhood to figure out where your fear of public restrooms came from. 4. The Screaming Woman (Pt. 1 & 2) - You wake up abruptly to sounds of a woman screaming only to be faced with your worst nightmare. 5. The People Upstairs - Your upstairs neighbors are loud and obnoxious without any regard to you. You become fed up with them until you realize what they've been dealing with. The Illusion Of Love
{WARNING: THIS STORY CONTAINS RAPE, PROSTITUTION, AND OTHER UNSETTLING TOPICS!!} Ashe never expected his life to take a turn for the worst. He was a quiet person, mainly from being shy, and didn't feel the need to try and be friends with everyone. So he assumed no one had any reason to bother him. However, he was wrong. After his father married some woman who was a rich socialite, and Ashe started going to the same school her daughters, Ashe ended up in the same class as one of them too, and she held a huge grudge against him for some reason. That petty grudge drove her to do unspeakable things to him, things she could never take back, and drove a peaceful boy like Ashe to a destructive headspace. He became broken, inside and out. He felt like there was no hope left in living and wanted to end it all. That was until he met a stranger named Beatrix who changed his life for the better.

The crowd erupted, roaring with glee, at every clumsy mishap they did see, red splashes stained the stage with haste, as an awkward teen became a victim of disgrace, with a bumbling slip, he hit the floor, and the laughter grew louder, more giggles and chuckles, laughter galore. Pull the curtain, the scene must end, the audience's breath held tight, my friend. The final act, a poor display, the lights dim, and the curtain sways. "Come again for another show," they say. Amidst the jeers and thunderous roars, I couldn't help but join, of course- for what was left but to laugh and stare, at the monsters we saw ourselves become.

Maybe shorts as in pants. It would've been cool if I had a collection of pants and every chapter is just a picture of a pair. I mean, when you think about it, we collect clothes throughout our lives like those people that hoard all the good washrooms. Of course you would show them off. --- I'm Inky :D welcome to my collection of short stories!
