Jack Zacharias, a 18 year old who is surviving the apocalypse. He's alone, armed only with his handgun. He survives through the craziest things, and he can't seem to get away from his fears. Remember that with Jack, there is nothing too crazy to go for supplies or survival. Rated PG for some foul language and scenes of violence. EDIT: Forgot some backstory for Jack. His parents treated him like shit. His life was shit. Nothing he knew could ever be focused on a good life, until now.

Staff Sergeant Jack Brynner has had a hard life. His mother died when he was ten years old and his father, a police officer, was killed just after he graduated High School. Jack soon joined the Army as an Infantryman and was almost immediately selected for sniper school. After fifteen years of service, Jack is being discharged. On his last tour, his right leg was amputated below the knee. After nearly a year of physical therapy, he has learned to walk again. Jack returns his his farm in Warren, Missouri to a hero's welcome. He is visited by a mysterious retired Army Colonel with a proposition for him. Not long after, the United States is hit with an Electromagnetic Pulse that takes out almost all electronics. Faced with no electricity and no help coming anytime soon, the town of Warren turns to the retired sniper for help defending itself. The retired Colonel may not have Warren's best interests in mind either. Weary of war and wanting to just be left alone, Jack must suit up for another conflict. This time he's fighting for his friends and the only place he has ever called home.
