Eloise Parker is serious about school. The only problem is, so is Alex. Since the first day of Freshman year at Reed College, Alex has done his best to one up Eloise in everything from grades to internships, much to Eloise's dismay. With an unspoken competition to be the best, both vie for a spot on next years very selective senior writing program. When the director overhears a heated argument between the rivals, a turn of events will force them to work together for once in order to claim a spot in the program. With plans quickly thrown out the window, the two of them will have to put down their swords and put pen to paper if they want a chance at the program.
