A fanfic based on characters from the musical Hamilton, but with historical appearances. This is just a basic high school au. I hope you enjoy if you read this!

Cliche title, but I have a reason for it This AU is set in the late 90's-Early 2000's btw John has been blind all his life. He's gotten used to the near constant teasing, taunting and bullying for having to bring his service dog, Philip, everywhere. He wasn't expecting anyone to bug him that fateful day at the library, but meeting Alex was probably the best moment of his life. Alex has lived in the Caribbean all his life, and has just recently raised enough money to be able to go to America. He passed the entrance exam to King's College with such astounding scores that he got in full scholarship. He wasn't expecting to run into anyone that fateful day at the library, but meeting John was probably the best thing that ever happened to him. Will contain mentions/doing of adorable gay fluff, some straight fluff, self harm, bullying, swearing, and other things. Rise Up And Take A Shot
Cover art dose not belong to me! It's whoever made it and I wanna say it looks AWESOME Alexander is really messed up. He has anxiety, depression, and is mute. By choice. He's also an orphan, and he's been bouncing around foster homes since he was about 11. In all of them, he's been abused, one way or another. He's been in about 7 different homes by now, and his current one doesn't seeeem so bad. But you never know. He's 14, and and has been jumped ahead a few years in school. He will face many struggles along the way, but he will rise up above them to take his shot. And one day, he will blow us all away. Note: There is swearing, talk of abuse and suicide, some abuse (not a lot! only a LITTLE), and some school-level fighting so basically maybe just a fist fight or two. And I think those are the only things that are going to be this XD so don't worry! Oh and some gayness. Not a lot, just kissing. Enjoy!!! (I know that Laurens is the one that's 3 years older, but John sounds cute as a shy kid. I also know this is probably crappy, and ive changed some details, such as Lafayette being three years older than Laurens instead of three years younger, and ive made relations between characters that aren't real.
