I am slightly disappointed in myself for not making it into the new year. I touch the door handle to turn it, it bursts open almost knocking me over.
Guys from a different Wolfpack crowd me to a dark corner, their eyes stair upon me like helpless prey.
I feel a strong grip grab my wrist and pull me back. Pressure fills my head as its pushed against the wall. I phase out for a moment to find the hand still gripping my wrist, and his free hand holding me to the wall by my throat.
"All by herself, up here on the dark dangerous roof at night." His arm letting go of my wrist to find it's self digging into my thigh.
His face comes close to mine, and he stares into me. His face pushes to my neck, and he inhales deeply. "Sweet... like candy." His eyes narrow, down at me, and he licks his lips. His tongue leaves his lips, to touch my skin when the roof door swings, and someone steps out. Damon Black, the future Alpha.
His grip around my neck loosens, to be moved to my waist. As he comes closer I feel the grip on my waist strengthen, his eyes flash, showing his wolf emerge.
"I think you better let her go, doesn't look like she's having a good time." Damons hand grips the beer bottle in it.
Damon moves swiftly, and smashes the bottle over the guy's head. He falls to the ground, beer soaks my dress and it turns translucent.
I follow to the main floor. I continue searching through the room for a familiar face and see none.
"Come with me." He says

I jumped to my feet and punched him in the side. There was hardly an effect. "You're weak" he spat, walking a step closer towards me. I growled as I had had it with this blood sucking devil! He was beautiful with his gleaming coat and strong legs. The black wolf left Liam on the ground and fiercely killed all of Liam's minions easily. He wasn't finished with his prowl, he turned back to face Liam but realized that the pureblooded vampire had already run off. Then I hear a deep growl.
