Mary Elizabeth Louise Herbart, otherwise known as Elise, is the only child of Julia Herbart - an aristocrat who owns the renowned textile factory, "Vereinigte Stoff-Fabriken" (United Textile Factories) in the city of Munich, Germany. Henry William Froebel, son of a poor farmer and his wife who is a garment laborer working under the Herbart's main factory, dreams of becoming a detective and solving difficult cases. Their fates intertwined when he was hired as a page boy in Herbart's manor. A quiet and aloof lady and a young man who's always filled with curiosity, met at the garden one night during a full moon. A red tie formed in between these lovers who came from the lower and the upper crust of society -resulting in a collision of two different worlds.
