During 1793, Carmen's whole family was infected with Yellow fever. After her brother, James, left and mysteriously disappeared, she was the only survivor. The next year she was attacked by a werewolf and bitten by a vampire in the same period of time. Now during the present time, being half vampire and half werewolf, she must stop a war from happning and create peace between vampires and werewolves, even if it involves giving up her own life.
