It follows the path or Mordec, a young man during the Ukrainian famine of the 1920's and his escape out of the country.

If the victims could speak, they would tell a story. I don't know how similar or different their story would be to mine. I have no idea. I don't know what literary style they would use, but I know the pain they would feel, a pain I feel too thanks to this angel called empathy and its friend called emotion. The sad fact, however, is that the victims can no longer tell it. They are dead or don't have a voice strong enough to scream to the world about our GENOCIDE, even before the Jewish one. A Ukrainian teenager Dima escapes with his family and a column of deserted military units. Through suffering from PTSD, losses, taking responsibilities and making choices he is not ready for, he will lead his people across the whole post-apocalyptic Ukraine, join rescue missions, full-scale wars and ignite a coup d'etat, which will be the worst catastrophe of his life and, most importantly, fight to protect the love of his life: a girl named Nastya, who lost everyone but him. Apart from fighting for lifes of himself and his loved ones, he will set up a survivor community within an old port of Ochakiv and even play a little rock gig before the new world strikes again.
